We live in turbulent times. After many years of observing the types of problems that affect people, I have come to see that there is much room for improvement in our world. Fortunately, something can be done about it.

Toward this end, my wife and I actively support several activities aimed at improving specific conditions in life. As some of the problem areas -- criminality, illiteracy, and drug abuse -- to name a few, may be of concern to you too, I have listed several resources below that provide both workable solutions, as well as proven results.

Human Rights

Do you know what human rights are? Specifically? The first step towards seeing human rights becoming a reality follows from their definition. There are thirty in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. You can see a video illustration of those rights and learn more by clicking here.

The Way to Happiness

With so many differences of opinion, of philosophies, religions, and ideas -- how is it possible for people to get along? Maybe there are some things most of us can agree upon. Here are a few: see the videos.

Drugs

Do you know someone who is having a problem with drugs or alcohol? Perhaps someone in your family is struggling with addiction -- it may be street drugs, or even prescribed drugs. This problem is the cause of more upset and heartache than can be imagined, and many families have been destroyed because of drug abuse. Is there any workable solution? Find out here.

Stress

Does it sometimes seem like your emotions are running you ?

Here's the first step in getting control of your life.  Read  Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health

Understanding the Mind

Don't believe the hype. It's not a "big mystery" and, no, there's no such thing as a "chemical imbalance" in your brain. Hear what psychiatrists themselves have to say about this hoax. Full length video.  Why, then, do people sometimes act so strangely?

Where the Truth Lies

No one denies that life has its challenges.  Sometimes a little help is necessary.   There is a big difference between real help, however, and harm in the name of help.  When a person is stressed, he can become vulnerable.  It is especially important at these times to become educated, to look, and to draw rational conclusions. If you or someone you care about is considering psychiatric "help", however, please view this video first.
